In the past 30 hours, I have been in two car crashes and had to bury our dog Zoe. In the past month I lost my brother and was accosted by people who felt he owed them.

Forgive me if I’m a bit testy and absent minded. With the exception of a drama free Christmas and a couple of Weekend afternoons, December has really, really sucked. On top of that, my boss just texted me saying basically “you need to step it up. You’ve taken too much time off.”

Fucking forgive me for being more committed to my wife than a job that pays what I get paid and has no real benefits.

Oh, and now we’re at the standalone ER because My wife is feeling achy after we were nailed from behind by a woman who insisted she had to leave for an important appointment. I took a picture of her license plate and explained that Enterprise rental needed a report.

And you did follow through with filing a police report after getting her insurance information? What she did is leaving the scene of an accident. She could get a ticket for that.

Ah, good. Best of luck to you, both with your wife’s health and dealing with Enterprise. I had someone back into a rental while it was parked in a garage. It took over a year to get everything sorted out.

I’ll be thankful for this whole year to be over. It hasn’t so much been bad to me personally but to many I know, it’s been a shit one.
I was just going to have an early night on new years eve but I think I’ll stop up just to make sure it’s gone.

I hope thinks drastically improve for you very soon. Really sorry for all that’s happened to you and your family this month.

I’m glad you made her wait. But I’ve had two different people hit Enterprise cars within 6 weeks of each other and they were mostly pleasant to deal with. Biggest issue is that their folks don’t communicate with each other, so keep records of who knows what. Eventually it all makes it into a computer system.

Don’t hang onto what you were. Let the fuckshit crapass flow over you, and if need be, let it change you. We all have experiences, at one time or another, that “kill” us in the ‘little death’ and leave us something new and definitely not what we were. If new is good, do it, if not, don’t.
